Global electronic music pioneers Infected Mushroom have officially launched Infected Mushroom: Pinball, the most realistic and psychedelic pinball game ever developed. This innovative new title marks a bold fusion of immersive gaming and musical artistry, pushing the boundaries of both mediums.

The idea was born six years ago when Infected Mushroom’s Erez Eisen first experimented with early VR headsets. That was the moment that ignited the thought: How do we create our own game? Being so busy, touring the globe on shows, writing music constantly for new albums & projects, where will we find the time to develop a game?

The universe summons. One day, a message pops up in Infected’s DM Inbox, from wiz game developer Jussie from Rayworks asking if we want to do something together… The timing couldn’t have been more perfect.

What began as a digital curiosity quickly evolved into a full-scale project coded from scratch — a journey that has culminated in a high-impact VR experience like no other.

Infected Mushroom: Pinball, available now on Steam, stays true to the classic pinball mechanics while introducing players to mind-bending alternate dimensions, stunning dark-themed visuals, and a custom-composed soundtrack from the duo themselves. The game is available in PC VR, standard desktop mode, and uniquely supports VPIN physical pinball machines.

One of the game’s standout features: players who complete missions are pulled into psychedelic mini-games, such as transforming into a fly navigating through hoops in a massive world populated by creatures from the band’s iconic album covers.
