Holy Wars Unleash Ferocious New Single “Crucify”
The rising modern metal crew Holy Wars release their ferocious new single ‘Crucify,’ which you can check out here.
Following a landmark year of high-profile festival appearances across Europe and the UK, including Download Festival, as well as support dates with nu metal icons Kittie, genre-defying rock outfit Holy Wars have returned with a blistering new single, “Crucify.”
Co-written and co-produced with Wage War’s Cody Quistad, “Crucify” arrives on the heels of May’s emotionally-charged release “I Feel Everything” and continues to showcase the band’s evolving sound.
Vocalist Kat Leon has described the track as deeply personal, rooted in grief and healing.
“‘Crucify’ was written as a reckoning. I carried the weight of a toxic past and personal loss for years. Writing this song became a way to purge that pain and reclaim my power.”
The single follows an intense period of momentum for Holy Wars. Their 2023 EP Cult Classic marked their label debut and set the stage for a series of major opportunities. In early 2024, the band joined Evanescence for a run of sold-out arena shows in Puerto Rico, before hitting the road with The Warning across the US and Mexico.
With “Crucify,” Holy Wars continue to solidify their place in the modern metal scene, with the track offering an exciting glimpse into what is to come from the band in 2025.
