The Black Keys Share Single “No Rain, No Flowers”

Grammy-winning rock duo The Black Keys have announced their 13th studio album, No Rain, No Flowers, will see release on August 8th via Easy Eye Sound/Parlophone Records.

Self-produced and recorded at Easy Eye Sound Studios in Nashville, the album includes collaborations with Grammy-winning songwriters Rick Nowels (Lana Del Rey), Daniel Tashian, and legendary producer/keyboardist Scott Storch (Dr. Dre, The Roots). The band has also released the album’s title track, “No Rain, No Flowers,” following previously released singles “The Night Before” and “Babygirl.”

“The Night Before” has already hit No. 1 on both the Billboard Alternative Airplay and Adult Alternative Airplay charts, marking The Black Keys’ eighth and ninth chart-toppers, respectively.

Following a collaborative spirit first explored on 2023’s Ohio Players, the band shifted focus on this record toward working with behind-the-scenes songwriting legends rather than guest performers.

Drummer Patrick Carney explains:

“We wanted to go straight to the source.Writers we admire, like Daniel Tashian and Scott Storch.”

On the subject of writing the album, frontman Dan Auerbach added:

“This whole album was really labored over with a lot of love. We hope you feel that.”

In support of the album, The Black Keys will embark on a UK summer tour this July, with shows in Leeds, Manchester, and London’s Alexandra Palace Park, supported by Miles Kane.
