Simple Plan Detail Documentary ‘Simple Plan: The Kids In The Crowd’

Canadian punk rock band Simple Plan will mark their 25th anniversary with the release of a brand-new Prime Video documentary, ‘Simple Plan: The Kids In The Crowd,’ streaming globally on July 8 in over 240 countries and territories.

The film offers a never-before-seen look at the band’s two-decade journey—from humble basement gigs in Montreal to international pop-punk stardom. Featuring archival tour footage, personal moments, and fresh interviews, the documentary is a heartfelt tribute to their legacy and impact.

Alongside the documentary, a companion soundtrack featuring career-spanning hits and a new single will be released on July 8. Amazon Music has also dropped an exclusive early demo of the band’s iconic breakout track, “I’m Just A Kid.”

Produced by Sphere Media and directed by Didier Charrette, The Kids In The Crowd includes appearances from punk rock icons like Mark Hoppus (Blink-182), Avril Lavigne, Dexter Holland and Noodles (The Offspring), and Fat Mike (NOFX).

Speaking about the film, Simple Plan said:
