Sanguisugabogg Announce Album ‘Hideous Aftermath’ with NSFW Single
Sanguisugabogg back up news of new album, ‘Hideous Aftermath’, with suitably NSFW music video for new single…
Ohio death metal deviants Sanguisugabogg have announced that their third full-length album, Hideous Aftermath, will be released on October 10th, 2025, via Century Media.
Produced by Kurt Ballou (Converge, High on Fire) and recorded at God City Studios in Salem, Massachusetts, the upcoming LP promises to see the band delivering their most personal, brutal, and sonically refined material to date.
A new single, “Abhorrent Contraception,” featuring Josh Welshman of Defeated Sanity, has also been released alongside an NSFW music video. The track continues Sanguisugabogg’s signature blend of gore-soaked lyrics, sludgy riffs, and relentless blast beats, now sharpened by Ballou’s production prowess.
Speaking about the single, the band said:
“As a death metal band diving deep in dark tropes of fantasy and exaggerated real life horrors, this song is a timeless classic with a theme very tried and true with our genre and it’s about the slaughter of an entire family and the unborn.”
Speaking about the album as a whole, vocalist Devin Swank states:
“It’s definitely our most death metal record, our most personal record, our most focused and brutal record to date.”
Hideous Aftermath features guest appearances from genre heavyweights like Todd Jones (Nails), Travis Ryan (Cattle Decapitation), Dee (Peeling Flesh), and Dylan Walker (Full of Hell).
Sanguisugabogg will support the album with a short U.S. summer tour kicking off July 22. Dates are as follows:
07/22 — St. Louis, MO — Off Broadway
07/23 — Cudahy, WI — X-Ray Arcade
07/24 — Iowa City, IA — Gabe’s
07/25 — Omaha, NE — The Waiting Room
07/26 — Denver, CO — Unhinged Fest
07/27 — Wichita, KS — Temple Live Lodge Room
07/28 — Oklahoma City, OK — 89th Street
07/29 — Memphis, TN — 1884 Lounge

Hideous Aftermath will be available in a wide variety of limited vinyl formats alongside digital and CD editions. Pre-order from here.
