Miles Kane returns with his highly anticipated new album Sunlight In The Shadows, set for release on October 17th via Easy Eye Sound. The announcement arrives alongside the release of the lead single “Love Is Cruel,” which you can check out below.

Produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, Sunlight In The Shadows is a 12-track effort featuring contributions from Pat McLaughlin, Daniel Tashian, and Patrick Carney.

Speaking of the first single, “Love Is Cruel,” Kane says:

“It’s easy to get caught up in the past. But there’s real peace in being on your own. It’s a desert dusk kind of tune — Clint Eastwood and Judy Garland vibes!”

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
