Me, Like Many Premieres Their Delicate Single “Soldier On”
Me, Like Many, the songwriting project of musician Tom D’Ademo, premieres their first new single in four years, “Soldier On.”

As a songwriter and producer, Me, Like Many maintains a delicate touch. You can hear it in the brand new single “Soldier On,” which sees its exclusive premiere today. Me, Like Many is the songwriting project of Southern Connecticut singer-songwriter Tom D’Ademo.
“Soldier On” is both subtle and intimate. When it comes to songwriting, D’Ademo would prefer to veer away from anything overly flashy. Like many of his songs, “Soldier On” features warm, analog textures and a restrained arrangement. It’s a very raw approach to songwriting where emotion is paramount. The song moves at a smooth pace, deliberating on themes of presence, stillness, and the strange beauty of pessimism.
Discussing the song, D’Ademo states:
“This is my first release in almost four years, and from the subject to the actual production, it couldn’t be more fitting. To me, this song embodies the ebb and flow of positive thoughts in the real world. I think it describes a glass ¼ full rather than ½. I recorded it in my home studio and was so fortunate to work with Steve Rodgers, a musical hero of mine, on the production side of it. He added guitar parts and worked magic on it to make it really shine.”
As a musician, D’Ademo treats songwriting as a precious commodity. He is out to earn your attention through the elegance of his songwriting. His music is like listening in on a private conversation two people are having in the quiet hours of a day. D’Ademo isn’t necessarily out to make you sad; he’s more out to make you think and feel. We’ve grown used to popular music being loud and boisterous. But there is something significant to be said about artists who can express so much with so little. Me, Like Many is minimalism at its finest, a comfortable, heartfelt approach to songwriting.
