An Evening with Goose in Indianapolis at The Everwise Amphitheater [Photos]
On a nice, warm, comfortable nice at The Everwise Amphitheater in Indianapolis, Goose delivered the goods for all in attendance.
On June 12th, Goose hit the stage at Everwise Amphitheater in Indianapolis for a night that felt just right. The weather was warm, but not uncomfortable, and the crowd was engaged without being rowdy.
They kicked things off with “Rockdale,” jumping straight into the set without any slow buildup. That energy carried through the first few songs — “Hot Love & The Lazy Poet” and “Turned Clouds” kept things interesting, while “Draconian Meter Maid” held everything together with solid grooves.
Midway through the first set, “Earthling or Alien?” led into “Give It Time,” and the band settled into a comfortable pocket. The transition was smooth, and the crowd stayed locked in. They closed the set with “Animal,” which brought the energy up just enough.
The second set started strong with “Pancakes,” which felt tighter live than on the record. Then came a surprise — a cover of Peter Gabriel’s “In Your Eyes.” The band handled it with respect and kept it fresh without overdoing it.
“How It Ends” slowed things down a bit before “Tumble” picked things back up. That jam stretched out nicely, giving the band room to play without losing focus.
Goose wrapped the night with “Arcadia,” a familiar closer that landed well. Overall, it was a solid show — no over-the-top moments, just the band doing what they do best and the crowd showing up to listen.
