Following indie stars James kicking off the Summer season at The Piece Hall in Halifax, the stars kept coming with British pop superstar Gary Barlow the next in the calendar to pack out this stunning venue in Yorkshire.

Unsurprisingly, fans travelled far and wide to see the Take That singer in Halifax where he was performing the latest date of his ‘Songbook’ Tour 2025. Taking him the length and breadth of the country, this tour was a chance for fans to see Gary Barlow performing a career-spanning set featuring both his own solo material and that from the multi-million selling Take That back catalogue.

Of course the set list leaned heavily towards the Take That catalogue with huge hits like “Greatest Day,” “These Days,” and “A Million Love Songs,” all making an appearance alongside solo material like “Incredible.” The reaction from the always die hard Gary Barlow fans was as vocal as expected while it’s hard to deny the final run in of “Shine,” “Relight My Fire,” “Back for Good,” “Rule the World,” and “Never Forget” were as near to British pop perfection as you could imagine.
