Supernatural Cat Records Launches US-Based Webshop via A Thousand Arms
Supernatural Cat has announced a new U.S.-based webshop through A Thousand Arms, which is now open to the public.
Italian exploratory record label Supernatural Cat announces a new U.S.-based webshop through A Thousand Arms, which is now open to the public.
Supernatural Cat was born at the end of the year 2005 by an idea of Malleus Rock Art Lab, one of the most original modern European music poster art collectives. Two of its three founding members are also part of the long-running psychedelic sludge metal trio Ufomammut and more. Over the past two decades, Supernatural Cat has released a wide array of albums from acts like Skyjoggers, Morkobot, OvO, Zolle, Incoming Cerebral Overdrive, Gotho, The Mon, and, largely, Ufomammut. With Malleus handling the artwork for these records, most of the pressings include limited hand-screened versions, printed on high-quality paper and materials, with the utmost care put into the presentation and sound. The collective has also partnered with other labels for some of their releases, including Neurosis’ Neurot Recordings.
Now, the label expands with a new webshop that will allow customers from North America and beyond to explore their vast catalogue of incredible releases without paying inflated import shipping prices from Europe. A Thousand Arms, which is the U.S. web home for other indie labels such as Pelagic, Crazysane, Dunk!, Golden Antenna, Exile On Mainstream, among many others, now welcomes the Supernatural Cat roster.
The Supernatural Cat operators state:
“We’re happy to announce that our label, Supernatural Cat, is now officially distributed in the USA by A Thousand Arms. After years, our records are finally directly available overseas! C.J. and the entire ATA team have been open and enthusiastic since the very first contact — a connection made possible thanks to our friend Dave at the always incredibly supportive Earsplit. You can now find releases from our newest roster addition, Skyjoggers, as well as records by Ufomammut, The Mon, Gotho, Morkobot, and more.”
