Marlon Hoffstadt Releases Double Single “Supersonic / Hands Up In The Sky”
Electronic artist Marlon Hoffstadt has announced that he has signed with Capitol Records, in partnership with Goodlife Management and MC3.
Acclaimed DJ/producer Marlon Hoffstadt – also known as DJ Daddy Trance – has signed to Capitol Records in partnership with Goodlife Management and MC3. Hoffstadt is managed by Invisible Hand Agency. Known for such anthemic tracks as “It’s That Time,” which has amassed over 53 million streams on Spotify alone and was remixed by Fisher, and “I Got You,” the Berlin-based artist was named the No. 1 Most Played DJ at ADE 2024 by Billboard.
Tom March, Chairman & CEO, Capitol Music Group, said:
“Marlon and his team have been building something incredibly special; he has risen to become one of the most exciting artists in dance music. We’re thrilled to become part of the team and help amplify his global presence.”
Marlon Hoffstadt added:
“It took me years to find my own sound and to find confidence, and it took me even longer to find the perfect label deal for myself. But here we go: Partnering up with the amazing team of Capitol, Goodlife Management, MC3 and my beloved management Invisible Hand, we found a setup that makes me feel extremely excited, confident, and thankful to be a part of. This definitely is the biggest achievement of my career and I’m so damn ready for it!”
Today, the label released Hoffstadt’s new double single, “Supersonic / Hands Up In The Sky.” “Supersonic” is an adrenaline-charged banger that the trance titan began teasing earlier this year. Produced by Hoffstadt and co-producer Morten Aamodt, the summer-ready track features vocals by Swedish singer-songwriter Emma Skøien. The incendiary “Hands Up In The Sky” unifies all ravers in a euphoric appeal to let loose on the dance floor, no matter what state they are in. Hoffstadt wrote the track with co-producers FREE JIMI, Xoro, and vocalist Rhys.
Hoffstadt, who is also co-founder of the label Club Heart Broken, recently made his U.S. live debut at EDC Las Vegas, where he closed out the main stage. On May 24th, he’ll headline Knockdown Center in Brooklyn, NY. Hoffstadt’s uplifting music and eccentric manner have been drawing massive crowds across the globe: from selling out 20.000 tickets in minutes for his upcoming Belgium show with KI/KI in August to touring his acclaimed audio-visual live experience “Daddycation” throughout Europe and Australia with upcoming stops in Barcelona and London.
Praising his sold-out performance at ADE last fall, EDM.com said:
“Hoffstadt’s ‘Daddycation’ set had the crowd jumping and cheering at every beat, whistle and electrifying drop.”
Covering a club show, Resident Advisor observed:
“From the second I arrived, it was obvious I was seeing something I’d simply never experienced in a Berlin club: crazy, unguarded joy, a room with every single person dancing…It was infectious and exhilarating.”
