Bloodstock 2025 Reveals Fancy Dress Themes & Packed Entertainment Line-Up
Bloodstock Festival 2025 reveals late-night fun, axe-throwing, silent discos, and epic fancy dress themes.
With just 11 weeks to go until metal descends on Catton Park once again, Bloodstock has revealed details of this year’s on-site entertainment schedule — including the return of its beloved daily fancy dress themes. This year, alongside over 120 bands across four stacked days, fans can expect fancy dress, axe-throwing action, and more.
Weekend tickets are now completely sold out, but Friday day tickets remain — offering access to 37 bands for just £92 (+ fees), working out at only £2.48 per band.
Thursday kicks things off with a tribute to the Sophie Lancaster Foundation as festival goers are encouraged to don their best pink gear, Sylvia Lancaster’s favourite colour. Friday takes a video game theme, inviting appearances from Mario, Sonic, Lara Croft, and more. Saturday sees a comic-book-style clash as heroes take on villains, while Sunday goes prehistoric as dinosaurs return to mosh their way through Catton Park.
Post-band, the festival continues deep into the night. Bloodstock’s legendary silent disco runs Thursday and Saturday in the New Blood tent (11pm–2am), with 1,000 headsets available across three live DJ channels spinning everything from dancefloor bangers to metal anthems and party cheese. Friday night sees DJ duo Dawn Debenham and Darren “Deadsoul” Smith serve up folk, pagan and power metal, while the Sophie Lancaster tent hosts themed DJ sets ranging from Blade-inspired industrial and drum & bass to unfiltered absurdity from Raised By Owls.
Elsewhere, full-contact medieval combat returns in the Battle Arena. The Vikings of Blodorn Englar and Hrafn Vaeringi engage in brutal daily contests featuring duels, team battles, and chaotic all-vs-all clashes. Inspired fans can try their hand at axe-throwing nearby.
Early risers can join free RockFit classes each morning (Fri–Sun) to shake off the cobwebs, while Midgard campsite hosts DJs, movie screenings, and the infamous bin jousting games from Thursday through Sunday.
From the heavy metal Market Place to the Gaming Arena, autograph signings, and more, BLOODSTOCK 2025 promises four days of music, madness, and unforgettable memories. Early access passes for Wednesday are still available for £25 as an add-on — but with day tickets selling fast, time is running out to join the metal masses.
Bloodstock 2025 announced it’s biggest and best line-up yet with headliners Trivium, Machine Head, and Gojira on the Ronnie James Dio stage, alongside an exceptional lineup featuring Kataklysm, Static-X, Obituary, and many more. Check out our coverage from previous years events here.
Bloodstock 2025 will take place from August 7th-10th at Catton Park, Derbyshire. For full festival details and ticket information, visit www.bloodstock.uk.com.
