Rising metal visionaries Black Satellite have released their haunting new single “Downfall,” which is available now on all streaming platforms and accompanied by a striking official video.

Black Satellite continue to carve their own path in the metal world, fusing industrial grit with gothic atmosphere to craft a sound that is as intense as it is unforgettable.

The band shares:

“We really wanted to write a song that casts a light on the complexities of struggling with mental health and its impact on those around you. The song is written from the perspective of someone watching the closest person to them literally drowning in despair and feeling almost helpless, like you can’t do anything for them. It’s kind of the sentiment of “If you’re going down, then I guess I am too”. Essentially giving in to the fight because it’s completely eaten you alive to the point where there’s nothing left.”

“Downfall” was recorded and produced by acclaimed producer Kane Churko (In This Moment, Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach) at The Hideout Studio in Henderson, Nevada.
