Beach Bunny Performs Playful Show at House of Blues in Boston [Photos]
As part of their “Tunnel Vision Tour” Beach Bunny touched down at The House of Blues in Boston for one big fun show.
Closing out the weekend, Chicago-based pop group Beach Bunny performed for a sold-out crowd at The House of Blues in Boston last Sunday, April 27th. Beach Bunny was performing as part of their “Tunnel Vision Tour,” aptly named after their newest studio album, which was released on Friday, April 25th.
Beach Bunny first rose to fame in late 2019 when their song “Prom Queen” went viral on TikTok. Then, in 2021, they had another viral moment with their song “Cloud 9.” The three-person band is made up of guitarist and vocalist Lili Trifilio, drummer and percussionist Jon Alvarado, and lead guitarist Anthony Vaccaro.
On Sunday night, the band took the stage, starting out with “Cloud 9” and quickly following it up with “Ms. California” and “Mr. Predictable,” the latter off their newest album. Lili mentioned to the crowd that she had lost her voice and was in some pain, so she would need a lot of help with the singing that night, and the crowd definitely came through for her!
Overall, the band performed 18 songs, then came out for a three-song encore to finish off the night. I absolutely loved the lights and stage setup. It was all pastel colours and cutesy decor. It gave the feeling almost as if you were at a slumber party from the ’90s, just hanging out with everyone in attendance. The performance was fun, playful, and ultimately enjoyable!
