The Punk Rock Museum’s latest addition, Vinyl Threat, is opening on April 12th.
Vinyl Threat is a time capsule of punk’s sonic revolution and a celebration of the movement’s raw energy. Whether you’re a die-hard collector, a casual fan, or simply a lover of music history, The store will transport you into a world where vinyl reigned supreme and music defied convention.
An intimate space on the Museum’s second floor, Vinyl Threat reimagines 50 years of punk record shopping, offering everything from new releases to rare finds, elusive test pressings, contemporary classics, limited editions, and exclusive in-store variants. It’s a curated journey through punk’s evolution, making room for unsung heroes, pioneering artists, and established bands with equal dedication.
Beyond Vinyl: Punk Culture in All Forms
In addition to vinyl records, Vinyl Threat will feature a curated selection of books, posters, toys, and shirts, spotlighting the museum’s dedication to punk culture beyond the music.
Vinyl Artifacts: A Window into Punk’s History
Vinyl Threat is more than just a record store; after all, it is inside the Punk Rock Museum.
In the coming months, Vinyl Threat will be showcasing rare gems from the personal record collections of punk icons such as Fat Mike and Vinnie Fiorello. Expect exhibition tie-ins and limited-period displays that celebrate punk’s rich vinyl legacy.
