After over a decade away, The All-American Rejects return with their brand new single and video, “Sandbox,” from their upcoming album.
The All-American Rejects are back with “Sandbox”—their first new music in over a decade, and the first taste of an upcoming album that balances their undeniable legacy of massive, anthemic songs with a refined, evolved sound. It’s a hook-heavy, pop-rock track from two of the genre’s most respected hitmakers—Tyson Ritter and Nick Wheeler—who’ve quietly soundtracked the past two decades with some of modern rock’s most memorable songs.
“Sandbox” arrives alongside a new video directed by Joseph Kahn (Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Eminem). The All-American Rejects helped define the visual language of the 2000s MTV era with unforgettable, cinematic videos that blended humour, heartbreak, and chaos. “Sandbox” carries that legacy forward with a twisted new chapter—watch as the band gets picked off one by one by a crew of demonic puppets.
This summer, The All-American Rejects hit the road as direct support for the Jonas Brothers on their massive nationwide arena and stadium tour. The tour kicks off August 10th at MetLife Stadium, with stops in DC, Nashville and more.
