The South Carolina-based rock band Sloans Grove just released their newest single, “Two Souls”, which is the third release from the group leading up to their debut full length album coming later this summer.

The new song is gritty, built on distorted guitar riffs, driving rhythmic identity, and tastefully textured with organ. It’s a rugged and raw energy, but it still feels personal and carefully crafted. With lyrics like, “Look out for the change in weather. Two hearts in time. Familiar feelings in my mind… The moon is rising, crashing tides, I’ll go your way if you go mine.”, “Two Souls” sounds like it could be about falling in love, finding something old again, or letting go—and it could be up to the listener to decide.

The band is comprised of vocalist Brittany Garrett, who shines with soaring vocal work that carries that authentic sentiment, along with guitarist Cory Jobes, who brings a Detroit-esque musical grit, bassist Matt Farmer, and drummer/producer Jonathan Stephens—a musical jack of all trades.

The band formed in early 2024 and quickly found their sonic identity after years of working together on different projects. Since then, they’ve played shows around the Upstate of South Carolina to growing support. “Two Souls” has already become a fan favorite at live shows—and now it’s ready for everyone to hear.

Listen to “Two Souls” by Sloans Grove, out now. And keep an eye out for their full length album, coming soon in 2025.
