Rebecca Black brought her “Salvation Tour” to Brooklyn’s Warsaw on March 27th. The 27-year-old star, who first became famous for her viral 2011 hit “Friday,” demonstrated just how far she has come since her early days of internet fame.

Black has grown into a powerhouse in the hyper-pop scene, and her sold-out show proved it. Opening with tracks from her latest album, SALVATION, she showcased her new, evolved sound with high-energy songs like “Tears in My Pocket,” “TRUST!,” and “Twist the Knife.”

As the night progressed, Black’s style and persona transformed. In Act 2, she channelled a Madonna-esque vibe with sharp fashion and emotionally charged songs like “American Doll” and “Sick to My Stomach,” highlighting her depth as an artist. By Act 3, the atmosphere in the venue shifted once more as Black strutted onstage in a cheetah print dress, ready to hit the club that inspired the track “Sugar Water Cyanide” before closing with “Girlfriend” and “Salvation.”

For the encore, Rebecca Black surprised the audience with a cover of Katy Perry’s “Ur So Gay,” bringing the night to an energetic close. The show celebrated Black’s artistic evolution—embracing her past while confidently stepping into her future. She’s no longer the viral girl from “Friday”; she’s a force to be reckoned with in pop music.
