Triple Grammy Award winner and RIAA Diamond-certified singer/songwriter Jozzy unveils her new single/music video, “Maybe,” the first release from her upcoming debut album, Soundtrack 2 Get Her Back.

Often in life, there’s ambiguity between what we say and what we feel. “Maybe” takes that uncertainty and turns it inside out as Jozzy informs her companion that she expects the favor and clarity of emotional honesty. “Don’t treat me like a maybe,” she sings.

Originally from Tennessee and now based in L.A., Jozzy was mentored by Timbaland and Missy Elliott. In 2023, Jozzy released her debut EP, Songs for Women, Free Game for Niggas, which debuted at No. 1 on iTunes’ R&B chart. She has collaborated with Black Coffee, Austin Millz, and David Guetta.

Jozzy has written Diamond and multi-Platinum hits for Beyoncé, Madonna, Lil Nas X, Summer Walker, 21 Savage, and Pharrell Williams.

Produced by Bongo By The Way and Freaky Rob, “Maybe” travels on a measured rhythm topped by luxuriously creamy layers of R&B, as Jozzy’s rich, evocative voice imbues the lyrics with nuanced tonal inflections. At once a request and a proviso, “Maybe” flows on delicious, silky-smooth textures accented by intimate vocal harmonies.

Par excellence R&B, with “Maybe,” Jozzy reveals the emotional stakes on the line – this time it’s real, no more it could be.
