Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson is the author of a number of books aimed at furthering an understanding of space and the universe, including his most recent book, Starry Messenger: Cosmic Perspectives on Civilization. He also maintains a popular social media presence, through which he engages with millions of followers on a variety of topics. His podcast, StarTalk, has a wide following and has been on air since 2009.

Born and raised in New York City, Dr. Tyson is one of the world’s leading astrophysicists, having earned a BA in Physics from Harvard and a PhD in Astrophysics from Columbia University.
