Australian Bass Producer Aydose Teams with Treats MC for “Doof Science”
Australian bass producer Aydose has announced a new collaborative song with Treats MC titled “Doof Science,” coming on April 18th.

Melbourne-based producer Aydose joins forces with Treats MC for his Grand Alliance Music debut “Doof Science,” releasing April 18th, 2025. The track marks their first official collaboration after a year of live performances together.
“Doof Science” blends orchestral elements with heavy bass, paying homage to Australia’s outdoor electronic music culture. The word “doof,” synonymous with pop-up festivals/raves, blends his love of dance parties with his signature bass-heavy electronic music.
Will Glazier, owner of Grand Alliance Music, states:
“This association is a great representation of where Australian and bass music in general is heading. It’s technical, forward-thinking, and deeply rooted in this multi-faceted and unique electronic music culture.”
Formerly known as $ure$hot in New Zealand, Aydose has established himself in Melbourne’s bass music scene through his genre-spanning approach.
The single features Treats MC and his distinctive vocals, with lyrics exploring festival culture and the expansive electronic music community. His portfolio includes opening for Ocean Wisdom on the Gold Coast and releasing work through Emphasize, gaining recognition on Triple J Unearthed. Their partnership emerged from Australia’s vibrant bass music scene, where Aydose’s technical production style complements Treats MC’s energetic delivery.
Aydose brings a decade of experience running underground bass events in New Zealand and 14 years of global radio broadcasting to the partnership. The track will be available on all major streaming platforms via U.S.-partnered label Grand Alliance Music.
