Amora Premiere Latest Single “Harrigian’s” Featuring Lilito
Philadelphia post-hardcore band Amora take a detour with the premiere of their new single “Harrigian’s,” featuring indie duo Lilito.

While they are typically known for their more aggressive, powerful brand of post-hardcore, Amora is taking a bit of a detour with their latest single “Harrigian’s.” The standalone single is a collaborative effort with Lilito, the indie pop duo, like Amora, based in Philadelphia. For “Harrigian’s,” Amora shifts to a more alternative, indie, pop-punk sound, illustrating their musical diversity and versatility. “Harrigian’s” is a poppy, hooky, radio-friendly track that, according to singer and guitarist Tristan Wikler, is “easily the danciest, most pop-driven song we’ve ever done.”
Elaborating on the song, Wikler continues:
“We’ve dipped into pop elements before, but this one goes all in with synths, a really catchy chorus, and Lily’s absolutely insane harmonies…”
Intensely personal, “Harrigian’s” grapples with loss, regret, and fear. Discussing these themes, Wikler states:
“Harrigan’s is about losing someone you love, feeling guilty for not being able to save them, finding pieces of them someone new, then being afraid to get close to anyone because if you don’t let them in you can’t let them down..”
Amora hails from the same suburb of Philadelphia that produced Circa Survive, Balance and Composure, and Pink. They have over a decade of history together with a central goal of striving for a nostalgic yet modernized sound that remains focused on grit. Lilito is a brother and sister duo led by lead singer Lily Mascherino. They formed in 2018 when she introduced her drummer brother, Scout, to the piano-focused rock songs that she had been formulating on her own.
“Harrigian’s” is a nice change of pace from Amora, certainly as compared to their 2022 Cutting Teeth EP. The band has opened for acts such as He Is Legend and Kaonashi and has played festivals with The Bronx and Psychostick. Whether it’s an indie pop flavour or pedal-to-the-metal post-hardcore, Amora can do it all.
