2000Trees festival can announce over 35 new bands and acts for the line-up of this summer’s much anticipated (and now officially the ‘Best Medium Festival,’ winning the accolade three years in a row at the UK Festival Awards) live event. Returning for a second year in a row and headlining on Wednesday night will be one of the North’s best rebel-rousing exports, Hot Milk. Tickets are available here!
Hot Milk’s Han Mee says:
“Last year we headlined and it went off, it felt so special. We wanted to come back and do it again. Wednesday night, you are ours and we are yours. Let’s be fuckin havin ya.”
Scotland’s Twin Atlantic will be back as the Thursday night 2nd stage headliners. Off the back of the recent self-released album Meltdown, they will be bringing their massive alt-rock offerings to the Axiom.
Sam McTrusty of Twin Atlantic says:
“We are so proud of our relationship with 2000Trees having played so many times over the years. Getting to watch the festival evolve and grow into something that truly connects with rock and alternative music fans in a way that gives them a sense of ownership of the festival is brilliant. We always feel like because of that, we give it a bit extra when we play there and can’t wait to get back on site and smash it with the ever-growing community this summer.”
Puppy makes their return, and this will be their first show back of the year and festival exclusive.
Jack Norton says:
“We are very excited to be back playing 2000Trees. This was the first UK festival we played as a band and they’ve been kind (or stupid) enough to have put us on many times since. This will be our first festival appearance since 2022 when we were touring our last album Pure Evil. Hopefully we still remember how to play the songs. Fingers crossed.”
Long-time festival friend, Frank Turner, will make his return and play a solo set for his critically acclaimed second album Love Ire & Song in full on the Friday night in the Forest. This will truly be a special evening and cement his legacy with 2000Trees.
Frank Turner says:
“Trees has been a home away from home for me since the early days, so I thought we could celebrate that together with a rendition of Love Ire & Song in full on the Forest Stage. I think it’s going to be magic; see you there.”
Other announced today include Australian punk band Press Club (Festival exclusive), La Dispute performing a second special set in the forest, British Rockers The Hunna, Brazilian feminist punk from Karen Dió, the post-punk legends, Mclusky, Australian solo act Hevenshe (Jenna from Tonight Alive) performing her first ever UK solo show, and many more.
