Oceans Calling Festival 2025: Where Folk-Pop Meets Alt-Rock
Oceans Calling, a festival in Ocean City, Maryland, is returning for its third year on September 26-28, 2025, at the Ocean City Boardwalk.

Oceans Calling, a festival in Ocean City, Maryland, is returning for its third year on September 26-28, 2025, at the Ocean City Boardwalk. The festival will host over 40 performances on its three stages, and with artists’ genres ranging from folk-pop to alternative rock, everyone is guaranteed to have an incredible time.
The first day of the three-day festival is on Friday, September 26th, and it will feature performances by a number of exceptional and inventive performers, including Green Day, Lenny Kravitz, and The Fray. It is widely believed that the 1989-formed band Green Day revived punk rock’s popularity in the United States. So far in their illustrious history, the band has amassed 214 nominations and 92 awards. Lenny Kravitz, a 60-year-old American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer, took home his first of four Grammys in a row in 1998. The musician has amassed an incredible 2.8 billion streams on all platforms since his debut.
The selection of artists for the second day is equally as outstanding and noteworthy as the first. Day two’s excitement will be pumped by Noah Kahan, Vampire Weekend, Good Charlotte, and a host of other incredible acts. From performing in college auditoriums in early 2023 to being the weekly musical guest on Saturday Night Live and a Grammy nominee, Noah Kahan has utterly dominated the pop and folk music scenes in the last two years. Contra (2010), Vampire Weekend’s second album, was highly praised and achieved great economic success, making its debut at the top of the US Billboard 200. Additionally, the band took home two Grammys for Best Alternative Music Album in 2014 and 2020.
The long weekend concludes with performances by Fall Out Boy, Weezer, Train, and numerous other incredibly gifted singer-songwriters. Originating in Chicago’s hardcore punk scene, Fall Out Boy is regarded as one of the founding fathers of emo music as well as one of its mainstays. Take This To Your Grave, the group’s first studio record, debuted at number five on Rolling Stones’ list of the 50 Greatest Pop-Rock Albums of all Time. Train’s 2009 single, “Hey, Soul Sister,” achieved 13x International Platinum, and the band has sold over 10 million albums and 30 million tracks globally.
Renowned chefs Robert Irvine, Michael Voltaggio, Bryan Voltaggio, and Anne Burrel will be featured in the festival’s food event, which is hosted by actor Jason Biggs, in addition to the music. Delectable food from Ocean City Boardwalk establishments and East Coast local food vendors will also be available at Oceans Calling.
For Day 3, one-day GA, GA+, and VIP are still available for $20 down, but they are going to sell up fast! All three-day passes are sold out, but there are still waitlists available, so I strongly advise you to sign up because this is an event you won’t want to miss!
