Jessie Berkshires Releases New Single “Lonely Wolf”
Jessie Berkshires is back with her first song of 2025, “Lonely Wolf.” It’s a catchy, upbeat track with contrastingly calming synth textures—and a driving funk guitar feel. Jessie is an artist who’s known for blending electronic sensibilities with stories about love, pain, and hope, and this release fits that bill.
At its core, “Lonely Wolf” is about celebrating independence. Lines like “Living in the shadows most of my life” and “A lonely wolf, running free” show someone who doesn’t need the affirmation of others to find their happiness and is totally fine doing their own thing. It’s a song for the outsiders who love their own path—akin to a wolf who doesn’t need a pack. “Walk where others fear to tread” totally nails that vibe.
“Living in the shadows most of my life . . . There is still so much to gain, I’ve worked through all the pain.”
The song has a fun groove, but it’s got heart too. “There is still so much to gain, I’ve worked through all the pain” speaks to the fact that Jessie’s been through some trials but has come out the otherside. “Lonely Wolf” is about owning who you are and being comfortable just being you. It’s Jessie doing what she does best: creating catchy music with a meaningful message.
