Jazz Cafe Festival makes its anticipated return this summer on Sunday, August 3rd, at Burgess Park, Camberwell. Last year, the iconic venue made its festival debut, displaying music and culture and celebrating both rising stars and established legends.

Taking place over four stages, Jazz Cafe Festival leaves no stone unturned, showcasing talent from all genres all over the globe. The main stage is headlined by multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Masego, who blends Jazz, R&B, and trap-infused soul. Joining this incredible talent is Elmiene, whose soulful vocals have captivated audiences. Also featured is Colombian groove sensation Balthvs, along with exciting performances from Nectar Woode, Amy Gadiaga, and Don West.

The Plant Room, a greenhouse-themed stage, hosting the greatest hip-hop and R&B talent on offer. The bar was set high last year with Earl Sweatshirt, The Alchemist and Roc Marciano back to back. I have no doubts that this year will be just as excellent, with Westside Gunn’s very first UK performance alongside Griselda label mate Benny The Butcher. The stage will also spotlight rising UK talent, including the poetic flow of Lex Amor, Lexa Gates, Brighter Days Live, and Skiifall. Adding to the dynamic mix are Raf Saperra, James Massiah, and Zino Vinci.

A short walk to the Four Corners stage, you can find a plethora of international sounds, including Nooriyah, known for her eclectic sets, and Juls, an iconic pioneer in the Afrobeats scene. IZCO, Young Franco, and Guts round out the lineup with their dance floor-ready grooves. The Dome stage will feature a fusion of experimental sounds featuring DJ sets from Nabihah Iqbal, Aroop Roy, and Malix.

The iconic Jazz Cafe venue credits its 35-year success on multi-genre programming and nurturing groundbreaking artists; these values are clearly reflected in the festival lineup. From soulful R&B to cutting-edge hip-hop and electronic sounds, the festival will transform Burgess Park into a vibrant celebration of music, culture, and community.
