Dean Nelson Ignites with New Single “Like Gasoline”

Dean Nelson’s latest single, “Like Gasoline,” featuring Seth Loveless, is an absolute blast. It has a light hearted feel mixed with a full bag of in-your-face lyrics. The song is musically infectious, with its funky rhythmic feel, catchy groove, and impressive guitar work.

The lyrics create a fun juxtaposition, with lines like “Burn it up like gasoline. Ugly motherf*cker looking awfully mean,” and “What you know about me? You don’t know about me,” adding a rebellious posture to a song that is sonically ironic in its less-than-aggressive feel, even down to the innocent feel of the artwork.

“Like Gasoline” is the second single off their upcoming album, Dinosaur Swing Set, set to drop later this year. It has a sound Nelson describes as “stank face.” And after listening to the song you’ll understand what he means. If you’re into groovy, hard-hitting rock and roll, this song will fit right into your repertoire.

Dean Nelson has been traversing the music scene since 2018, and this new release is just the latest in the group’s journey to bring their sound to the world. “Like Gasoline” gives a taste of what to expect from the upcoming album.
