Deadly Carnage Working on Concept Album About Witchcraft & Witch Hunts

Italian post-black metal band Deadly Carnage has announced that they are working on a new concept album, which will be about witchcraft and witch hunts.
Commenting on the news, the group released this statement:
“The basis of this new concept album was conceived even before we released “Endless Blue”, we have been dedicating ourselves to the new material for almost two years; Witchcraft and Witch Hunts are themes that are particularly close to our hearts; many years ago we mentioned our interest in these themes with our debut album, but now, on the threshold of twenty years of activity, the time has come for us to close the circle. Our new concept album does not aim to analyze the historical or sociological facts of this phenomenon, but intends to tell an intimate story of loss and personal growth through the symbols of Witchcraft itself; a story seen through the eyes of a female protagonist (rightly so) who will accompany us on her journey through the night and beyond the mists to reveal ancient practices and lost knowledge. We still have a long way to go to release this new work, but every day we are giving our all to its realization.”
