Collaborations – “Let The Love In” [Song Review]
Cool and smooth yet with beaucoup soul, Collaborations’ “Let The Love In” (HMG Recordings) drips with glossy surfaces and vivid hues of color, all arranged deliciously.

Collaborations, a collective of indie artists, released their single, “Let The Love In,” at the end of 2024. It’s the lead single from their 2025 album, Songs From The Heart Vol. 1, a collection of songs reflecting the enduring, alluring sounds of the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s.
Made up of a committed group of musicians and vocalists, Ed Daniels shapes the music and themes, along with an assembly of co-writers, who inject life into the songs through their voices and lyrics. The team of co-writers includes Anais Preller, Suzanne Kiss, Heather Joseph, Carla Zipa, Sylvia Jones, Sheila Fabrizio, Vita Rose Taytro, Bonnie Lee Panda, and Alex Bach.
Under the watchful eye of producer Vic Steffens, with co-production and orchestrations by Matt Oestreicher, recording occurs at Horizon Music Studios in West Haven, Connecticut. The Collaborations Band comprises Bobby Torello, Scott Spray, Al Ferrante, Jon Peckman, Tim DeHuff, Bill Holloman, and Dave Eggar on strings.
Constructed around the ideas of authenticity and creative freedom, each artist is given a basic theme and outline, allowing them to imbue their distinctive approaches and emotions into the music. This process expands the music, resulting in songs resonating with leitmotifs of social consciousness and soul-searching within an intimate human context.
“Let The Love In” opens on a luscious Latin-flavored R&B rhythm topped by the sumptuous vocals of Anais Preller, who boasts one of those posh, sensuous voices that beckon to listeners. Silky harmonies, elegant swaying strings, and brass accents imbue the melody with stylish layers of sonic elegance.
Cool and smooth yet with beaucoup soul, “Let The Love In” drips with glossy surfaces and vivid hues of color, all arranged deliciously.
