Tony Halchak Sparks New Chapter With New Single
Tony Halchak’s new single, “Virginia /\/\/\ PA”, is the first look at what is to come from his upcoming album All the Monsters Love the Dark. With his signature mix of Americana and rock, Halchak delivers a mellow yet expansive track that showcases the raw energy of his voice, the maturity of his sound, and the artistic intentionality of the vision for his music in 2025.
The new single reflects on the past with an honest perspective, rather than through “rose colored glasses” as Halchak puts it. “It’s a deeper look at the past,” Halchak explains. The track explores themes of growth and understanding that Halchak experienced through the events of his personal life.
“I started journaling to make sense of it all. Putting pen to paper to try to understand what was happening.”
Known for his “Black Diamond Americana” stylings, Halchak’s vocal character and the accompanying production gives the song a unique flavor. “Virginia /\/\/\ PA” is the lead single from his fifth album, which was inspired by Halchak’s own personal struggles. “I started journaling to make sense of it all. Putting pen to paper to try to understand what was happening.” he says.
With this release, Halchak proves his ability to use personal life experience to communicate a relatable message through song. “Virginia /\/\/\ PA” sets the stage for an album that promises to push his music in exciting new directions.
