Cassetta Share Single “Azrael” off Upcoming EP ‘In Darkness Our Roots Will Rot’
Hardcore act Cassetta has released their new single “Azrael” and has announced their new EP ‘In Darkness Our Roots Will Rot.’

Greater Los Angeles hardcore act Cassetta is gearing up for a massive 2025 with the release of their new EP, In Darkness Our Roots Will Rot, out February 28th, 2025. This marks the band’s latest project following their relentless string of heavy-hitting releases.
The four-track EP, self-produced and mixed by Jeff Dunne (Knocked Loose, Ice Nine Kills, Emmure), promises to be a ferocious statement, blending raw aggression with haunting introspection.
The first taste of the EP, “Azrael,” is available to stream on all major platforms. The single delivers an unrelenting mix of chaotic energy and guttural emotion, setting the tone for what’s to come.
Cassetta will also celebrate the release with a special EP release show on March 7th, 2025, at Gilmore Music in Long Beach, CA. They’ll be joined by Duhkha, Abominate, Takedown, and A Year Ago Today for a night of pure hardcore intensity.
