Cantora Records is proud to introduce a new wave of talent, including three new artists: Gliiico, No Love For The Middle Child, and murdermart. The former two artists both released their debut singles under the label late last September with Gliiico’s “Tragedy” (feat. Chara) and No Love For The Middle Child’s “One Last Drag.” Since then, Gliiico dropped their anticipated EP, The Oath, No Love For The Middle Child released singles “I Told You” and “Bittersweet,” and murdermart burst onto the scene with their album COWBOYS LIVE FOREVER.
These signings mark an exciting new chapter for Cantora Records as it continues to cultivate a roster of boundary-pushing talent that transcends traditional genre lines.
Kio, Kai, and Nico, also known as Gliiico, are the trio of brothers crafting their unique sound in the vibrant heart of Tokyo. Drawing inspiration from the rich textures of the vinyl era and blending them with modern aesthetics, they’ve created a fresh yet nostalgic sound reminiscent of artists like Tame Impala, Gorillaz, and the Bee Gees. In just two years, Gliiico has seamlessly merged music and fashion, opening for global acts like Phoenix and Khruangbin, while collaborating with brands like Swarovski and making appearances at Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo. Gliiico’s debut EP, a product of three years of work spanning bedroom demos, hotel recordings, writing camps, and intense studio sessions, offers eight tracks, each one a distinct planet in the band’s sonic universe, inviting listeners into a genre-defying musical journey.
No Love For The Middle Child, the artist project of LA-based Andrew Migliore, joins Cantora after establishing himself as a raw and emotional songwriter and platinum-selling producer for major artists like Juice WRLD, Meek Mill, and Machine Gun Kelly. Now, No Love For The Middle Child is stepping into the spotlight, bringing an introspective and vulnerable sound that fuses alternative rock with pop influences. Whether through his own music or the projects he produces for others, No Love For The Middle Child pours his heart into every note, establishing himself as an artist with a powerful and meaningful message.
Murdermart is a five-piece band forging their own path in the modern music scene. Dean, Adam, Brock, Brennan, and Stevie, made their debut with their first full-length album, COWBOYS LIVE FOREVER, at the end of last year. Written over the course of six months and recorded in Las Vegas, the album blends raw energy, emotional depth, and cinematic storytelling.
Alongside the album, murdermart produced live versions of four tracks, each accompanied by a performance video that perfectly showcases the band’s chemistry as well as each of their distinct personalities. Now based in Boston, the band is channelling their momentum into their next project, set to drop this year. With an evolving sound and uncompromising vision, murdermart is just getting started.
