Summer & Eric Release New Single “Where You Stand (I Knew)”

Summer & Eric, a duo that started as two teachers with a love for music, have become a growing presence in the Northern Virginia music scene. Their new single “Where You Stand (I Knew)” is a great display of what they do best: heartfelt music with beautiful harmonic qualities.
The song has a warm, acoustic feel, with gentle guitar and mandolin accompaniment adding to the forward-moving instrumentation. But it’s the inviting feel of the vocals that really shine, carrying the song’s message about knowing, right from the start, that someone is the perfect match. As they put it, “Sometimes, love can be challenged, changed, and rediscovered,” but other times, “you just know.”
Summer & Eric’s journey started during the pandemic, when they began harmonizing in school hallways and playing local gigs. They quickly built a following, with fans often commenting on how well their voices blend together. It’s that chemistry that makes “Where You Stand (I Knew)” so resonant—a musical relationship makes the song feel intimate, like they’re sharing a personal story with the listener.
Now, as they travel across the region, Summer & Eric continue to write and perform original music. “Where You Stand (I Knew)” is just one new example of their growing catalog, and a sign of more things to come from the budding musical duo.
