Guess Method Releases New EP ‘Retrosight’

Indie-funk band Guess Method released their new EP, Retrosight, and it’s packed with magnetic grooves, catchy melodies, and impressively tight musicianship. With six new tracks to vibe to, the band mixes funk, indie rock, and jazz into a sound that keeps you moving—and engaged.
Formed in 2018 at the University of Rhode Island, Guess Method has built a name for themselves over the years with their energetic live shows. The band—Luca Simeone (vocals, keyboard, trumpet), Miles Duhamel (guitar), Christian Cerrone (vocals, guitar), Chris Grady (drums), and Matthew Fuller (bass) have assembled a musical cohesion that is apparent on Retrosight.
“It’s all about recognizing something special that’s been hiding in plain sight. . .”
And with the new release, Guess Method proves they’ve got the chops to keep things interesting. In the words of bassist Matthew Fuller, “It’s all about recognizing something special that’s been hiding in plain sight and stepping into it, even if it’s unexpected.”
The EP captures the energy of their live shows while also showing off their growth as a band. If you’re into entertaining, funky tunes with a lot of soul, Retrosight is more than worth your while.
Listen to Retrosight by Guess Method—out now.
