BUTTONZ Releases His Newest Single, “Ghetto Dope”
DJ and producer Buttonz has announced his arrival with the release of his new single “Ghetto Dope” via Grand Alliance Music.
BUTTONZ has arrived! This part-time producer/DJ/label manager (and full-time badass) from seemingly-nowhere Michigan, USA, is bringing the heat on his long-awaited debut EP, Rebirth, which drops this spring on his own co-curated label and collective, Grand Alliance Music.
The excitement begins with the debut EP’s first single, “Ghetto Dope.” This track is a true anthem, combining intense energy with the essence of G-funk beats, featuring heavy bass that rumbles and sizzles. Its smooth, effortless flow and intricate sampling are sure to make it a favourite in your workout, feel-good, or festival playlists.
“Ghetto Dope” transcends the ordinary; it’s a full-blown experience. Celebrating BUTTONZ’s skateboarding heritage and the sounds that influenced him. This track radiates raw energy and a defiant attitude. It seamlessly merges the thumping bass of electronic music with the fluid rhythm of hip-hop. With expertly sliced samples and rich, textured beats, the song captivates listeners while BUTTONZ’s confident flow glides through, leaving a lasting impression.
BUTTONZ, also known as Ben Nowacki, shares:
“‘Ghetto Dope’ serves as a vivid portrayal of my experiences—encompassing skateboarding, street culture, and the music that has always been intertwined with it. This track fuses the intense, bass-heavy sound I adore with the gritty essence of gangster rap, enhanced by some eclectic samples that introduce a new layer to the composition.”
He emphasizes:
“I aimed for a vibe that resonates with the authenticity of my journey.”
Growing up deeply entrenched in the skateboarding scene, he discovered his groove both on the skateboard and through music, making it a true reflection of BUTTONZ’s path.
With every element meticulously designed by Nowacki, “Ghetto Dope” stands as a testament to BUTTONZ’s artistic evolution, blending nostalgia with a fierce contemporary edge that resonates deeply with anyone who has ever felt the thrill of the streets.
“Ghetto Dope” solidifies BUTTONZ’s position as an innovative producer and artist. His ability to combine diverse genres and create a sound that’s completely his own continues to push the boundaries of modern music, making him a unique force to watch as 2025 approaches.
Don’t miss out early—BUTTONZ is only getting started, and his journey is just beginning.
