The Phoenix x EDWIN Celebrating 25th Anniversary of ‘Another Spin Around The Sun’ Feb 21-25
Edwin will celebrate the 25th anniversary of ‘Another Spin Around The Sun’ at The Phoenix Concert Theatre February 21st to 25th.

On Friday, February 21st, F7 Entertainment and 94.9 The Rock will present EDWIN live at The Phoenix Concert Theatre.
Most renowned as lead vocalist for I Mother Earth, Edwin has been busy over the past eight years with the seminal band that has been part of his career since 1990. Meanwhile, his other projects have taken a back burner.
Says Edwin:
“When a friend of mine pointed out that Another Spin Around The Sun was turning 25, I got a bit nostalgic for all of the other music I have been fortunate enough to create in my life. I thought about how much I miss playing a lot of the tunes from my solo and Crash Karma days.”
He adds:
“I am loving the I Mother Earth world and music but thought I could put a band together and perform a few shows that feature my solo and Crash Karma music.”
EDWIN enjoyed a 17-year run as a solo artist, as a member of Canadian supergroup Crash Karma and even a stint on lead vocals with Alex Lifeson as part of Lifeson’s VICTOR project.
The artist’s first solo album, Another Spin Around The Sun, achieved Gold status and featured three Top 10 Singles, “Alive,” “Trippin,” and “Hang Ten.” The album won both a JUNO Award and an MMVA (MuchMusic Video Award). He went on to release two additional records as a solo artist and subsequently joined the supergroup Crash Karma in 2008 along with Mike Turner and Amir Epstein, with Jeff Burrows joining soon after.
Tickets for ‘EDWIN Live at The Phoenix Concert Theatre’ will go on sale on December 23rd at 9:00 am at Ticketweb.ca.
