Ryder Take You to School with the Premiere of “Queen Viper’s Kiss”
Ryder is showing you how to rock out with the premiere of their new single “Queen Viper’s Kiss” from their new album, ‘Menagerie.’
While talent is obviously important, bands like Ryder remind you that rock has and always will be primarily about attitude. You hear plenty of that on the band’s latest single, “Queen Viper’s Kiss.” It’s the second song to be released from the Queens, New York band’s forthcoming new album Menagerie.
While we await its release on January 31st, we have this song to enjoy, in addition to the album’s previously released first single, “Southbound.” “Queen Viper’s Kiss” is an example of the higher octane side of the new record, driven by the swagger and rock n’ roll charm of frontman James Ryder. He’s well complemented by lead guitarist Max Knight, who doles out electrifying solos left and right. Combined together, it’s an energetic formula for balls-to-the-wall heavy rock n’ roll.
Speaking of the new single, Ryder comments:
“This track is a venomous tale of betrayal and survival, wrapped in a ferocious mix of searing vocals and relentless guitar riffs. ‘Queen Viper’s Kiss’ captures the essence of resilience and strength amidst chaos.”
Strength and chaos are important elements of Ryder’s arsenal. Heading towards its release, the band is tremendously proud of the pending release of Menagerie. It represents a new era for the band after some lineup changes that occurred this past January. This is the first album to feature this new lineup, which has really acted as a sparkplug for the band.
While not a concept, each track on Menagerie provides a unique perspective on some core themes like struggle, triumph, and identity. There are some sharp, supercharged anthems on this album, but it’s also complemented by some haunting melodies. Ryder and his bandmates are proud of the fact that they have delivered something with an edge that will resonate with an audience seeking out a more classical rock n’ roll experience.
