Alex Henry Foster Shares Live Video for “Shadows of Our Evening Tides”
2024 has been an awesome year for California singer-songwriter Remi Wolf who signs off the year with a UK tour including this rammed show at Brixton Academy in London on a damp Thursday night in December.
Supported by her own guitarist Maddie Jay who delivers a splash of indie-pop to proceedings, Wolf is an infectious ball of energy the moment she hits the stage with “Cherries & Cream”. In town promoting her critically-acclaimed 2024 Big Ideas album, Wolf and her audience connect in a way that very few artists do.
It’s not only the way that Wolf connects with her audience but the way she connects with her bandmates and how they connect with each other that makes the Wolf live experience such a special one. Dipping back and forward from older material like hit song “Liz” alongside new album favourites like “Toro” and “Kangaroo”. The night wraps up with “Photo ID”, the track which blew it up with Remi and the one which guarantees the night ends of a huge sweaty, smiling high for every single person in the room.
If 2024 was the year where Remi Wolf and her ‘big ideas’ lit the fuse, 2025 is the year where the Californian singer-songwriter is going to blow the pop world right open. Make sure you jump on the bandwagon as soon as you get the opportunity.
