Pretty Smile Releases New Single “Never Enough”

Quebec-based punk rock band Pretty Smile is back with their new single, “Never Enough”. The band delivers a powerful sonic experience with the release that blends 90s and 2000s punk with a modern sound. “Never Enough” dives into feelings of self-destruction and helplessness, encapsulating the raw emotion of the song.
The lyrics reflect a turning point in the band’s journey, with lead singer Xavier Dionne saying, “The lyrics ‘I never thought I would be there’ are about a moment of surprise and a turning point in my life.” While not claiming to provide a solution, “Never Enough” seeks to capture a feeling that anyone might experience at some point in their life.
Recorded at Pantoum and mixed by Luc Tellier, “Never Enough”, signals a bit of shift in the band’s style in what they describe as a “simpler, more direct formula.” This song is just the beginning of this territory as they work towards a future full-length project.
After a summer of shows in places like Montreal and Sherbrooke, Pretty Smile has made an impression on the local rock landscape. The band is already looking ahead, ready to continue exploring bold and personal topics in their music. Guitarist Antoine Marquis adds, “’Never Enough’ takes us back to our raw music era and we’re so into it.”
Fans can expect more of this energy as Pretty Smile continues to evolve and share their exciting sound both in the studio and on stage.
