KATSEYE is a rising global KPOP-style sensation who is now taking center stage as part of Vevo’s highly-anticipated “DSCVR Artists to Watch 2025” campaign. They perform their debut single, “Debut,” which showcases why Vevo and Geffen are going all out on KATSEYE.

Vevo’s ‘DSCVR Artists to Watch’ series is in its eleventh year and has garnered a reputation for showcasing emerging talent across many genres they believe are poised for global stardom, the way XXL releases their highly anticipated “Freshman” issues. The group members were selected from over 600 submissions, and this year’s roster features a curated group of artists from across the globe.

KATSEYE is trying something different in their development process that differentiates them from many previous girl groups. They represent the first global collective shaped by KPOP artist development techniques but share an international lineup of six members: Daniela (USA), Lara (USA), Manon (Switzerland), Megan (USA), Sophia (Philippines), and Yoonchae (South Korea). United by their diverse backgrounds and shared ambition, KATSEYE represents a bold new era in pop music.

The group’s journey is documented behind the scenes on Netflix as they participate in The Debut: Dream Academy, which is a competitive program developed by HYBE and GEFFEN. During their talent search, they whittled down over 120,000 global submissions to just six standout talents. Their official debut single, aptly titled “Debut,” launched in June, setting the tone for their career. This was followed by the heartfelt single “Touch” in July, showcasing the group’s softer side and winning fans worldwide.

KATSEYE’s Netflix documentary series is titled Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE, which premiered on August 21. Their whirlwind debut year has been packed with highlights, including their first-ever live performances at KCON, a national TV debut on Good Morning America, and the release of their EP, SIS (Soft Is Strong), in August.
