In the run up to this tour English singer-songwriter Kate Nash has been on a something of a crusade to highlight the plight and save the grassroots music scene in the UK. By starting an OnlyFans account to sell pictures of her butt, Nash wants to bring attention to the struggles of being a touring musician in 2024.

Announcing that the only way she can make money on tour is by selling photos of her backside online, Nash has hit the headlines with her Butts4TourBuses tour even going as far as protesting outside the Live Nation offices in London.

Unsurprisingly, the London show was packed out and saw Nash in explosive form as she both hit out at the lack of support for the grassroots scene and the organisations at the root of the problem while delivering a set that could be quite easily be described as laced with punk rock attitude. Touring in support of her 2024 album, 9 Sad Symphonies, the seventeen song set kicked off with “Millions of Heartbearts”, before Nash roared through the likes of “Life In Pink”, “Wasteman”, and “Part Heart”.

Whilst the quality of her catalogue of hits is something no music fan could ever question, neither could the singer-songwriters’ passion, dedication and downright fury at an industry that has failed her and many thousands of others across the country. Here in London, all of that came to a head resulting in an explosive performance from an artist who, quite honestly, shouldn’t be in a position where resorting to OnlyFans is the only way to survive in an industry where you provide all the talent but reap the least reward.
