Bullet For My Valentine & Trivium Join Salt Brewing for Exclusive Release
Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium celebrate their debut albums with limited-edition beers available on draft during their tour.

SALT Brewery is thrilled to unveil a groundbreaking collaboration with legendary bands BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE and TRIVIUM. Together, they’re celebrating the 20th anniversaries of their iconic debut albums—The Poison and Ascendancy—with three limited-edition beers launching this December and January. This electrifying partnership coincides with the bands’ highly anticipated Poisoned Ascendancy World Tour kicking off in January 2025.
The result of this epic collaboration is three bold brews inspired by metal masterpieces. Each beer is a tribute to the groundbreaking energy and artistry of these seminal albums, crafted to resonate with the raw power of Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium’s music.
First, there is the “The Poison” 6.66% IPA a fierce homage to The Poison. This bold, hop-forward IPA delivers a devilishly delicious 6.66% ABV, with explosive tropical fruit notes and a dry, crisp finish.
Next, they have delivered “Ascendancy” a 4% Rice Lager inspired by Ascendancy, this smooth, refreshing rice lager balances subtle bitterness with a clean, invigorating finish—perfect for any occasion.
Rich Nelson, Head of Sales at SALT Brewery, comments:
“We’re massive fans of Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium here at SALT, so this project is a dream come true. Their music shaped an entire era of metal, and we’re honoured to celebrate their legacy with these unique brews. Each beer has been meticulously crafted to capture the spirit of their sound, and we’re thrilled for fans to experience the synergy of metal and craft beer.”
Finally, “Poisoned Ascendancy” a 4.5% Hazy Pale the ultimate tribute to the joint tour, this hazy pale ale combines a crisp, citrusy edge with a complex malt backbone and assertive hop profile. It’s a beer as dynamic and electrifying as the bands themselves.
Fans will have the chance to savour these exclusive beers in can format, sold through SALT’s online store, and on draught at select UK venues during the tour.
“Hey everybody. We’re incredibly excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with craft beer legends SALT to make our very own unique and delicious hazy IPA!,” says Matt Tuck, singer and founding member of Bullet For My Valentine. “In celebration of our debut album The Poison hitting 20 years old and our upcoming Poisoned Ascendency world tour with our friends in Trivium, you can now celebrate by raising a glass or two with us in celebration of this moment. The Poison IPA comes in at 6.66% abv and is a big bold juicy flavour bomb of a beverage that will not disappoint. We hope you love it as much as we do. Cheers!”
“Trivium are a band who loves to explore the world through food and drink – especially through beer,” says Matthew Kiichi Heafy, singer and founding member of Trivium. “With our collective years of beer fandom, we wanted to work with a brewer who shared the equal passion as us in crafting something just to our specific taste. We can’t wait to unleash this beer on all of you. Cheers!”
