Boomtown Festival Drops First Confirmed Artists for 2025 Line-Up

For the first time in half a decade, the award-winning Boomtown have surprised fans by sharing an early first taste of the line up. Known for selling out in advance with details of the line up dropping only a matter of weeks before the summer spectacular of music, culture, entertainment and activism, Boomtown have embraced the spirit of Chapter 4: Power Of Now by revealing the first wave of names heading to Winchester’s Matterley Bowl between 6th-10th August 2025. With this announcement, Boomtown are making a bold statement by drawing together the most exciting names from an incredibly wide range of genres and styles.
From elaborate and otherworldly set designs to hidden and spontaneous performances in unexpected locations, Boomtown is a trailblazing fixture in the global festival calendar, creating a living, breathing parallel world where the boundaries between audience and performer are blurred, and where creativity and community are at the heart of everything.
Kicking off a truly eclectic line-up with groundbreaking acts across every genre, Maribou State return to Boomtown in the wake of their highly-anticipated new album Hallucinating Love alongside Jamaican reggae and dancehall legend Sean Paul. Boomtown will also play host to a raucous and rejuvenated punk reunion in Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter.
