Ahead of further dates announced in 2025, the UK got a short visit from Los Angeles blues rock favourite Beth Hart for a night where, yet again, the singer-songwriter demonstrated why she is still such a powerhouse in the blues rock scene.
Making her way from the back of the venue in Brighton, the main thing you notice about Beth is how she commands the attentions of a room from the moment she enters it right through to the moment she leaves. This is no more evident than when she is on stage and whether she’s rocking out numbers like “Bad Woman Blues”, behind a piano on “I Need A Hero”, performing acoustic numbers like “The Ugliest House on the Block” and “Sugar Shack”, there is no stopping her once she hits her stride.
However, where the singer-songwriter really shines is in the pure, heartfelt emotion of her voice which powers through on the more upbeat numbers and is hauntingly powerful on more the more intimate ones including an acapella “Leave The Light On”.
Wrap the whole thing up and add in an almost electric connection with her fans and you end up with a truly magical night from one of the most iconic names in blues rock. If you missed these dates in November, you’ll get a second chance when Beth returns early in 2025, make sure you don’t miss out next time round.
