Twin Atlantic Wrap Up UK Tour in front of Loyal Fans at Birmingham Academy 2 [Photos]
Glaswegian rockers Twin Atlantic wrap up their UK tour in front of an appreciative crowd in Birmingham. Check out the photos here…
It might be a chilly night in Birmingham but the O2 Academy is a hive of activity as singer-songwriter Rag ‘N’ Bone Man is also in town playing upstairs to a packed out room. However, our attention is the Academy 2 which is playing host to Scottish rockers Twin Atlantic who are in town on the latest date of their UK tour supporting their 2024 album Meltdown.
A band who, throughout their seven album career, have consistently delivered the goods, it comes as no surprise that, while not as busy as the upstairs hall, the Glaswegian band’s hardcore following has turned out in numbers tonight for their return. Kicking off the set with the title track of their 2024 album, the set progresses through “Yes, I Was Drunk”, “Get Out” and “Free”.
It’s at this point that, even the casual fan must have realised what a solid back catalogue the Scottish rock band possess. “Hold On” and “Barcelona” share a set list with new album cuts like “Sorry”, “Snow In Texas” and “I Couldn’t Miss You Much More” before the Scots bring this run of UK dates to a close with a moody rendition of “Crash Land”.
Our photographer Carla Mundy Photography headed down to the Academy 2 and you can check out her gallery, along with Twin Atlantic’s set list below.
