Tilt Collective Launches Musicians Making Art Across Multiple Mediums

Tilt Collective, an innovative new platform for musician-artists, is proud to announce its official launch. Founded by singer-songwriter and photographer Judy Cade and violinist, composer and visual artist Hugh Marsh, Tilt is an evolving online space that highlights the intersection of music and visual art, where musicians transform their passion for creativity into stunning works of visual art.

At its core, Tilt Collective features an initial group of accomplished musician-artists, including Judy Cade, Hugh Marsh, Kurt Swinghammer, Martin Tielli, and Kevin Hearn. Each artist curates their own gallery, showcasing limited-edition prints of their artwork.

The tagline, “Musicians Making Art,” encapsulates the heart of Tilt Collective: musicians who explore and create visual art, united by their interconnected experiences in music and beyond. These artists have shared stages, studios, and creative spaces with one another and countless other collaborators from around the world, creating a rich tapestry of artistic interactions that go beyond the confines of traditional media.

In addition to the core members, Tilt is committed to welcoming guest artists for limited engagements. The first featured guest artist is Turkish-Canadian multimedia creator Mercan Dede, a multidisciplinary artist who has been celebrated globally for his creative work over the last 30 years, both in visual art and music. The core group will expand over time with regular guest artist contributions, enriching the collective’s roster.

Tilt Collective offers affordable, high-quality art prints on archival paper, providing fans and collectors with limited-edition pieces from their favourite musician-artists. By making exclusive, limited-run art accessible, Tilt bridges the gap between art and music fans.
