Nothing But Thieves Bring “Dead Club City” Tour to Vancouver [Photos]
English rockers Nothing But Thieves, accompanied by Taipei Houston, brought the house down at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver.
Nothing but Thieves packed Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom with their “Dead Club City” tour last week.
The English group delivered a high-energy show, with fans of all ages dancing and singing along as if they were part of the performance. Taipei Houston was the opener for the night.
The young band from Los Angeles, which has a notorious last name in two of its members, Myles and Layne Ulrich, sons of Metallica’s Lars Ulrich, showed their high quality through their set.
Nothing But Thieves hopped onto the stage and started their set with “Oh No: He Said What?” For the third song, they performed “Is Everybody Going Crazy?” and it felt like there was an earthquake from all the stomping on the floor.
Other songs they performed included “Amsterdam,” “Sorry,” “Trip Switch,” “If I Get High,” and “Impossible,” plus an unreleased song called “Always, Always.” They performed 19 songs before leaving the stage and thanking the fans.
The crowd remained and started shouting, “One more!” The band returned to the stage for an encore, closing with “I’m Not Made by Design” and “Overcome.”
