NoahFinnce Brings his Arena-Sized Anthems to the Intimate Southampton Papillion [Photos]

It’s been about eight months since pop/punk star NoahFinnce dropped his debut album Growing Up On The Internet and, with a series of high profile support slots and festival appearances over the last few months helping raising his already significant profile, Noah’s crowd was ready for these dates by the time they arrived.

Joining Noah on the tour is another social media star in the form of Nashville TikTok sensation Taylor Acorn who also dropped her debut album, Survival In Motion this year. A perfect blend of modern pop, emo and rock, Acorn is precisely the kind of warm-up this audience lap up and, here in Southampton, that’s exactly what they do.

As for the headliner, his journey to packing rooms like this has seen him jump from YouTube hit during COVID to a fully-fledged star in his own right. His debut strong GROWING UP ON THE INTERNET was, unsurprisingly a hit with this generation of alternative pop/punk fans many of whom have clearly snapped up tickets for this and the rest of this tour.

An explosion of colour, attitude and generation-internet-inspired songs, Noah gives this audience what they want which is big anthemic pop songs, with big attitude and big energy. All compressed into an intimate room. The result is a pop-punk show that has grown up inspired by the huge pop-punk bands, birthed in his bedroom and fine-tuned on some of the biggest stages and festivals across the UK.

When the tour was announced, Noah exclaimed “I’m ridiculously excited to get back to playing headline shows in the UK, can’t wait to perform so much of my album and meet more of you!” and he kept to his word blitzing through “I KNOW BETTER,” “LOVELY LADIES,” “SUBTITLES,” and “GIBBERISH” each song feeding off the back and forth energy between Noah and his fans. Artists like Noah deserve to be playing arenas with shows like this and given the connection with his fans, you wouldn’t bet against it in the next couple of years.
