Mission Jupiter Drops “Sometimes It Hurts” Single & Lyric Video
Mission Jupiter has released the new single “Sometimes It Hurts” and its companion lyric video via Label 51 Recordings.
Label 51 Recordings is pleased to announce that Mission Jupiter has released the new single “Sometimes It Hurts” and its companion lyric video. A full-length recording is expected in 2025.
Mission Jupiter is known for their dramatic, atmospheric sound wrapped around soothing female vocals. “Sometimes It Hurts” blends alternative and progressive rock influences with beautiful harmonies and the enchanting voice of new member Kate Varsak.
“This new song is an epic Mission Jupiter rock ballad,” says songwriter/guitarist Vlad Shvakel. “Kate’s vocals are deep and cosmic. The protagonist is mentally down, but by the end he chooses the light side, battling all the negativity. We hope it will resonate with out listeners on a profound level.”
The band has partnered with the award-winning Third Man Mastering to create a wide, warm, punchy sound for the song. “Bill Skibbe did a phenomenal job on mastering, as we expected,” says Eugene Zuyeu, the group’s drummer and sound producer. “We’re opening a new chapter of Mission Jupiter with this song,” says Varsak. “I am so happy to be a part of this!”
