Last Eon Release Their New Album ‘Wooden Bodies’
Led by band lead Sergio Todisco, Italian alternative post-rock group Last Eon has released their brand new album ‘Wooden Bodies.’
Last week marked the release of Wooden Bodies, the second album by Italian alternative post-rock band Last Eon.
They emerged from a former group called Shy Eon, of which only the originator, guitarist and vocalist Sergio Todisco (also known as A Giant Echo), remained, working on the band’s production.
After rewriting and rearranging the existing songs, Todisco sought out other musicians and formed Last Eon, which included Fabiano Pittiglio on guitar and backing vocals, Emanuele Tartaglia on drums, Alessandro Prete on bass, and Manuel Parisella on keyboards.
The debut album, Before I close my eyes, was released at the end of 2018. Sometime later, Riccardo Bianchi (A giant echo’s drummer) joined the band, however playing synths, and production works began on the new album: Wooden Bodies.
All the tracks on the album are entirely written and arranged by Sergio Todisco, although in some of them, there was a good contribution from the other bandmates on arrangements in their instrumental parts.
Sergio Todisco recorded and mixed Wooden Bodies with Alessandro Assante, who handled mastering as well.
